Harry R. Haldeman (1926-1993) was a governmental official and business consultant. He was President Richard M. Nixon's Chief of Staff, 1969 to 1973, but his official title was Assistant to the President. He was forced to resign from his position after the Watergate scandal, and was indicted on conspiracy, perjury, and obstruction of justice charges.
